Dear Futsal Friends,

we are glad to introduce to you the Summer Futsal EuroCup 2008 International Tournament for Men’s Category.

The Tournament will be played from Saturday 30th to Sunday 31st August 2008 in the city of Fano, Marche Region.

Following the Rules of the Tournament with all details regarding informations and participation.

Rules:

1)       Team’s participation

Clubs admitted to the Tournament should be affiliated to own National Federation.

2)       Player’s participation

Every Club should introduce before the start of the Tournament own squad list (max 20 players) with Name, Surname, Date of birth, goalkeepers and coach. All players must be registered from own Club, there’s the possibility to have “on loan” n. 4  players from different Club (please indicate the name of this Club).

3)       Schedule and format of the Tournament

To the Tournament will participate 16 Clubs divided into 4 Groups of 4 teams eachone. At the end of the Round Robin (every match will be 1x25 mins) the first two top teams will advance to the Quarterfinals 1°/8° place, the last two bottom teams will be putted into Quarterfinals 9°/16° place. Following the Semifinals and all the Finals from 1st to 16th place. In the Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Finals matches, in the case of draw will be played extratime (1x5 mins) and eventually penalties. In the case of tie at the end of the Round Robin will be applied: a) goals difference b) best attack c) head to head d) Fair Play Standings e) draw If participating number of teams will be minor of 16, the Organization Committee will modify the Format and will notify immediatly to all the Clubs. The matches will be played in the Centro Sportivo “Villamarina” with two pitches in synthetic grass (38x18 m.) close to the beaches and the Adriatic Sea. All referees will be designated from AIA-FIGC Official Italian Referee Association. UEFA Futsal Rules will be applied.

4)       Club’s participation Fee

Club’s participation fee is confirmed in € 300,00 (three hundred) the payment should be made before the start of the Tournament by bank transfer (details will be sent separately). All the teams who wants accomodation (Hotel, Pension, Touristic Village, Camping) should be inform immediatly the Organization Committee.

5)       Discipline Every player will be suspended for 1 match every two bookings received, and will be suspended for 1 match (or more) in case of sent off.

6)       Prizes All the teams will be rewarded with a Cup or a Plate; other prizes will be given to the best scorer, the best goalkeeper, the best player and to the Fair Play team. There’ll be a money prize (depends by the number of participating teams) to the winner’s Club.

7)       How to reach Fano  

Car/Bus: Motorway A14 exit Fano (North --> from Bologna/Rimini, South --> from Pescara/Ancona)

Train: Fano Station

Airplane: Ancona/Falconara Airport (ca. 40 km South of Fano) or Rimini Miramare Airport (ca. 50 km North of Fano)

Ferry/Boat: Ancona Port (ca. 50 km South of Fano) or Pesaro Port (ca. 15 km North of Fano)  

The Organization Committee declines every responsibility about injuries or facts happened to persons or things during the Tournament.
