Small-sided (mainly five-a-side) football has
also enjoyed rapid growth, reflecting modern
lifestyles and time pressures. Over the last
five years The FA has made major strides in
establishing futsal as a new sport in England
and in convincing the wider football community
of its benefits.

 

When the word 'futsal' is searched, this is the only reference the game gets in a 52 page document.  If the same document had been written in Brazil, Spain, Italy, Argentina, Holland, Croatia, would futsal have managed just 1 word? It is reassuring that the word comes from such a high authority within the national game.
