beat Santos by resounding score after disasterous start.  Doncaster gave the watching crowd an exhibition in how to stretch and warm up, only to start mentally cold.  The arena score board showed them 0-3 down after only 8 minutes!

When the going gets tough the tuff get going, which is just what Doncaster did.  Player manager Brian Green had trump cards John Atkinson and Danial Hogan on his team, and goals from booth levelled the scores to 3-3.  The game levelled off for a while and at 5-5 although Doncaster were edging it Santos were still dangerous opposition.

The last third changed everything, Doncaster continued to play at a consistantly high standard to the end of the game, Santos just could not stay with them.  Doncaster ran away to 12-5 before Santos scored a late consolation goal. 12-6.

Leon Walsh made his FPL debut in goal for Santos; a key position to have to introduce a new player, however talented, with limited futsal experience.

The watching spectators that I spoke to after the game were impressed with the standard of play of booth teams.
