White Bear 5 Team Baltic 0

A triumph for the FPL Southern Conference as they supplied both finalist.

Not a classic final,  the excitement had been drained by the semi finals.  Both teams played high quality team futsal, with individual technique and pace that suprised spectators new to the game.  At 3-0 the game needed a Baltic goal to pressure  White Bear.  As so often happens when teams are forced to  chase they end up conceding, which was how White Bear added to their tally.

The final was White Bear's second championship, and Team Baltics second final defeat.

White Bear were winning their semi final 4-2 against Ipswich Wolves when the Wolves scored a third in the final minute. White Bear held on to win 4-3.

Team Baltic led Tranmere Victoria 3-0 until a 2 late goals closed the gap to a nail biting 3-2.

Tranmere were the only team in the semi finals with English players on the pitch, and they really heavily on foreign friends.

Vaughns and Nicol Magpies fought out a thrilling Plate final.  7-7 normal time, 8-7 to Vaughns in extra time.
