Then they draw 1-1 with Ripley who they had met in the qualifying competition they took the lead but Ripley came back and made it level in the last seconds so they had to settle for a point   Game three saw them beating Futsal Yorkshire 2-1 a close game but the boys were always in command and so went through as group winners   In the Quarter Finals they played in the main arena in front of over 200 people which included Sir Trevor Brooking the FA Directory of Football and Dermot Collins the FA National Manager for Small Sided Football Their opponents were West Drayton Tigers who had come through as best 3rd place in their Group B competition. The side pilled on the pressure from the start and came out very easy 5-0 winners in the end.   The Semi Final saw them up against Lindsey School in the Netball Arena they had come through as Runner Up in the B Group. In a close game it was the Enfield side that were the far better and they ran out 1-0 winners   The final saw Enfield pitched up against Brentford who were managers by England and Vaughan’s Goalkeeper Dean Thornton who had come up against Enfield in the Umbro National league twice this season already   Enfield started well and had all the play in the opening minutes with Brentford having to defend well to keep out any shots of goal   The breakthrough came and Enfield were in charge after that running out comfortable 2-0 winners in the end.   This is a great result for Futsal in North London, mark and Steve have worked hard with this group of players who also play as Stanmore in the local league and are building up a very good reputation.   FC Enfield Secretary Rob Brassett Said ‘These boys have shown that hard work pays off, they are a good side and well behaved on and off the pitch, It’s a great achievement to be the best in the country'
