Boro Announce New Sponsor |

Hertel, provider of support services and specialised products to international businesses in sectors such as petrochemicals, power stations, power supplies, pharmaceuticals and shipbuilding, has become a main sponsor of Middlesbrough Futsal Club for 2009.
Hertel is the second sponsor to join forces with Boro for the 2009 season, following in the footsteps of Italian kit supplier Errea and it shows that Middlesbrough Futsal Club has strong commercial prospects despite the developing nature of the sport itself. |

Tees Valley Futsal League looking for teams |
The Tees Valley Futsal League, about to enter its fourth season, is looking for men’s senior teams for the 2009 season. The League was founded in 2006 and has been won by University of Teesside twice, and Middlesbrough once. There are already five teams confirmed for 2009 and the organisers are looking for a league of seven to twelve teams.

England vs. Netherlands and France |
|
 England lost 4-1 to Netherlands and 8-1 to hosts France in the International Futsal Tournament of Caen in Peter Sturgess's first games in charge. It's all part of the preparation for the UEFA EURO 2010 qualifiers and up next for England are Republic of Ireland, Lithuania and Libya in a four nations tournament in Loughborough in December.
England will travel across the Irish Sea to face Republic of Ireland, Cyprus, and Kazakhstan in the Preliminary round of the UEFA EURO in February after taking on Georgia in a final double header in January. Photos courtesy www.fff.fr
