Comments Gary Macbeth, chairman, of the Futsal Premier League:
“We are delighted that Molten has agreed to sponsor the Futsal Premier League and to become our official ball sponsor. The FPL was established in 2004, initially as a group of regional leagues, but always with an eye on a national competition. The ‘Serie A’ national league kicked off in 2005/6 season, with teams competing in northern and southern conferences and a championship playoff. The best clubs deserve the best ball. Molten is a high and consistent quality ball, so we are very happy with this opportunity. We look forward to working with Molten to help raise the profile of the sport even further in the UK.”

Bob Hope, chairman of Molten Sports said:
“Molten is delighted to be appointed as sponsor of the Futsal Premier League and also that our new design futsal ball has been selected as the official match ball of the League. Futsal is growing daily in the UK and we are very pleased to have been invited by the Futsal Premier League to become involved at this early stage of its development.”

Futsal is an indoor version of football which is played by two teams of five players, one of whom is the goalkeeper, with a low bounce football. The emphasis is on improvisation, creativity, speed and technique. Interest and participation is developing at an ever increasing pace.

The low bounce, Molten Futsal GOLAZO ball is manufactured in synthetic leather with 32 panels to FIFA specifications. It is hand-stitched and is available in white with black/silver printing.
