Middlesbrough vs. Ipswich Wolves in aid of The Tommy Leech Fund

Middlesbrough Futsal Club have confirmed plans to mark the occasion, on 23rd February 2008, with a charity friendly against English Champions Ipswich Wolves. This main event will kick off at 7pm, and will be preceded by a warm up match, and fund raising games, including a raffle, crossbar challenge and more.

With over 6 trophies and only 7 domestic defeats between them in 2007, it is going to be a must-see match. Ipswich Wolves won the FPL South and The FA Futsal Cup in 2007, while Middlesbrough won the York Futsal Open, and finished 2nd in the FPL North. Wolves will play in the UEFA Futsal Cup in 2008 as England’s representatives and will no doubt be favourites for the FA Futsal Conference.
