This year has seen another increase in playing numbers for the Schools tournament.
This event is fast becoming a permanent feature on many schools calendars.
This year the tournament attracted 800 teams and approximately 7000 - 8000 players will have contested the event in their own state region.
Further encouragement for teams are the chance to contest the by invitation only event Champion Of Champions
Talented players from those games players will be selected to represent their state at the National School Championship held in Dandenong Victoria in October.
There will be about 130 teams from players who competed in Qld, NSW, Vic, Tas, SA. The championship event was held at Dandenong last year and is one of few venues that can say they have 15 courts under the one roof.
Good Luck to all players and Coaches

It was a boring Sunday afternoon in the jungle, so the Elephants decided to challenge the Ants to a game of football. The game was going well with the Elephants beating the Ants ten goals to nil, when the Ants gained possession.
The Ants' star player was dribbling the ball towards the Elephants' goal when the Elephants' keeper came lumbering towards him. The elephant trod on the little ant, killing him instantly.
The referee stopped the game. "What the do you think you're doing? Do you call that sportsmanship, killing another player?"
The elephant replied, "Well, I didn't mean to kill him - I was just trying to trip him up."
