its a slow process, as we may have a lot of interest from clubs but so far we have only 5 out of the eight teams we need. Have any idea on how we can get more teams to play futsal?

I started with 4 teams in Grimsby, that quickly grew to 6 and then 8. Presently there are 70+ teams playing each weekly from ages 9-seniors. It's about perseverance; every time we lost a team some how we gained 2 more. Start with 5, pay each other 3 teams instead of 2 and offer a free taster game for an outside team to play the team without a fixture, most times when a team have played futsal they stay with the game. Another starter is to organise a 4 team mini tournament and ask the teams to continue into a league.
For me 1-10 teams was the hard work, 70-80 is no challenge if I want the league to expand that far. I have all the normal competition with alternative 5 v5 companies offering free kits, free membership etc.
