Grimsby Soccer Schools

Date:

Every Friday, but double check as bank holidays and illness may effect.

Venue:

Mathew Humberstone School, other venues are currently being investigated.  School is an indoor venue.

Time:

5-45 -7-00pm

What do I need?

Football kit, shin pads, bottle drinking water and a good attitude.

What makes futsal different?

Rules incorporate fair play standards (5 fouls = free direct shot at goal, no sliding tackles and no barging).  Rules force players to play quickly.  Ball is low bounce, maximising skill development.

Is there evidence that players from futsal cultures make better players than football countries?

The English Premier League is constantly raising its standards importing foreign futsal players.  All Brazilian, French, Spanish, Portuguese players will have been brought up on futsal.

What do you need to know about GSS?

They offer futsal coaching for junior players in a CRB checked friendly environment where the player comes first and the coach and parent second.  Sessions are about improving skill, but incorporate fun games to finish with.

Abilities?

Ability is not a consideration, the desire to train and play with a smile is all we ask.
